Reversing number signs (negative to positive and vice versa)

Hi,

New to SQL.

I need to reverse the signs, for example I have an amount of -1,500.00 and I need to change the the Amount to 1,500.00 and all positives amount to a negative amount also.

Thank you

Stephen

Just put the negative sign before each value. You can test any query in a command-line client by simply typing it in:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. SELECT - -15 as inverse;
returns
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. inverse
  2. ----------
  3.   15

Changed thread title to better describe the problem (did you know that threads whose titles do not follow the Posting Guidelines actually get FEWER responses?).
