Format date to be like (January) not (01)

"convert(varchar(10), MonthBegSearch)". I am having trouble with the syntax to change the month to be spelled out in stead on numeric.

Hi.

Check out the DATE_FORMAT() function.

For example:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. SELECT DATE_FORMAT('1997-10-04 22:23:00', '%W %M %Y');
  2. /* = Saturday October 1997 */
  3.
