MySQL performance drops occasionally

553 512MB
My mySQL very much slows down occasionally.

I then have to shut the instance down and re-start it, this resolves the problem.

what could have been causing mySQL to slow down occasionally.

Thanks

Hi.

I'm not sure what would cause MySQL to lose performance like that. Are you executing complex queries? using large temporary tables? or some other memory-intense query?

Is it possible that there is some other process running on the computer that may be slowing it down? Maybe some automated script that ends up in an infinite loop or something?
