If you have command line access you can use mysqldump.

To export a DB, simply type this on command line
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. mysqldump db_name > sql_dump_file.sql
and to restore DB on linux type the following on command line
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. mysql db_name < sql_dump_file.sql
You may need to provide mysql username and password.
