now when using the
C:\mysql\bin\mysqld --standalone
the error message changes to:
Can't find messagefile 'c:mysql hare\english\errmsg.sys'
NO that is not typed incorrectly! mysql is has no idea where is wants to
find that file.
I have downloaded the file twice now, with same result
below is a copy of C:\windows\my.ini
