use array, maybe, I think?

I am new to php/mysql but not new to server side scripting in general.
I have built an app using DreamWeaver MX, PHP and MySQL. It is working
well but there is one final functionality I need and I'm not sure
where to start.

This is it:

-I have a query that pulls back a dynamic list of items (items a-f)
-I can click on any one of those items to be displayed in a full
product page
-As it stands, I have to go back to the list in order to click on and
view a different result from the list. What I want to do is to have a
link on the full product page that will bring me to the next item on
the list without having to actually go back to the list.

In other words it should work like this:

-the query pulls the list
-I click on any item in the list to get a full page of that product
-from that full page a link will let me view the data of the next or
previous item that resulted on the original list.

Many sites do it, for instance prudentialcal.com. You search on a
property then choose one from the list. That choice opens to a full
page with more data regarding that property. But there is a link on
the bottom of the page allowing me to see the next (or previous)
property without having to go back to the original list.

I'm sure this will need to be done with an array of sorts, but the
original query pulls data using joins from numerous tables and I'm not
really sure how to do it or even where it should take place.

I'm quite sure many of you out there can help and I would appreciate
it. This is one area (arrays) that I need to work on.
