Joining 3 tables

Hii all,

Im struck with a query ...

i have 3tables (tbl_projects, tbl_staffs and tbl_staff_assignments)
nw i want to join the 3 tables by query..

pk-primary key , fk-foreign key

my requirement is: tbl_staffs. staff_id_pk= tbl_staff_assignments.sta_staff_idfk
and tbl_projects.pr_project_id_pk= tbl_staff_assignments.sta_project_id_fk

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. SELECT * from tbl_projects LEFT JOIN (tbl_staffs, tbl_staff_assignments) 
  2.   ON (tbl_staffs.stf_staff_id_pk= tbl_staff_assignments.sta_staff_id_fk AND tbl_projects.pr_project_id_pk=tbl_staff_assignments.sta_project_id_fk)
  3.  
  4.  
when im trying to execute this ... im not getting the required result

plz help..

hii..

reqired result shd be in the form of tbl_projects....
but the 1st field that is pr_project_id_pk should be of sta_project_id_fk(tbl_staff_assignmnets) that is coming from tbl_staffs(stf_staff_id_pk) coz stf_staff_id_pk= sta_staff_id_fk)
