Hi,
I'm trying to setup a webpage that will allow me to use similar
results to that of show tables, show index from table_name, describe
table_name and select * from table_name.
I know that this can be done in php (Beginning PHP4 Databases has
sample code). But can it be done with server-side javascript and
ODBC/JDBC (I'll even look at VBscript).
Can anyone point me to some information please.

Webpage layout:
List of all the tables within a database (show tables).
These would be hyperlinks to the information page.
Information page:
Section 1 would contain the 'create information' (describe table).
Section 2 would contain the index information (show index ..).
Section 3 would contain the data (select * from ...).
