bi-Directional MiRRoriNg

hi every1

im tryin to setup a bidirectional mirroring between 2 mysql servers.
but when i try to start the service i get this error:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Error reading packet from server: Binary log is not open (server_errno=1236)
  2.  
  3. Got fatal error 1236: 'Binary log is not open' from master when reading data from binary log
  4.  
can someone help me out here?
this is what ive set:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. Server 1:
  2. Server id - 1
  3. report host - *.*.*.250
  4. master hostname - *.*.*.251
  5. master username - root
  6. master password - ****
  7. master port - 3389
  8. master connect retry - 60
  9.  
  10. Server 2:
  11. Server id - 2
  12. report host - *.*.*.251
  13. master hostname - *.*.*.250
  14. master username - root
  15. master password - ****
  16. master port - 3389
  17. master connect retry - 60
  18.  
i left the log settings on default.
and configured this using mysql administrator
