Hello,

Suppose I create a view by merging two tables.

Then will the view get updated if the data present in the underlying tables get updated ?

I create a view by merging two tables
How do you merge 2 tables in a view?

A view is nothing more than a predefined SELECT statement. It contains one or more SELECT statements, that will be evaluated each time the view is executed. So changing the underlying table data has no effect on the view definition itself.

Updating / altering the view (definition) itself has no effect on the underlying data.
