Storage Engines in MYSQL

Hi Friends,

Iam using MYSQL Version 5.0.

I want to know the following things.

1. How to get the details of the available storage engines in the MYSQL server using a query?
2. How to check the default storage engine enabled in my MYSQL server using a query?

Thanks,
Pimp

There is no query to interrogate the server about engines. You just have to look at the standard MySQL official documentation to see which engines are supported for which version/release.
