Visitors Can't Upload Pictures - Why?

I am building a site that will include picture uploads. When I try I get this msg:

"could not update mysql database with uploaded image location"

What do I need to do to get these pictures in?? This is the site so far:

http://www.guahanmemorials.com/

Also, there is a table at the site called SEARCH REFLECTIONS when I select a letter the REFLECTION does not come up. Any suggestions here? I am really, really, really, new to all this so ANY and ALL information to point me in the right direction would GREATLY be appreciated. I've have been working on this for over 2 months now, and I feel I am getting close. Geeting excited about the ability to call it a completed work.

Thank All of You in Advance!

I have tried your site and my findings are:
  • I uploaded a picture of 552KB and it uploaded fine.
  • I could see my entry in the overview.
  • searching: I could only search with letter R and got one result, not my own.
  • all other searches (other letters) failed, i.e. no results.
So it works sometimes and sometimes not. Reasons could be:
  • image upload:
    - you uploaded the image to a server location/folder that cannot be reached by the MySQL server
    - the uploaded image is too large and the upload failed, so MySQL could not find the image on the server.
  • search: sometimes it works fine, as I proved. So there must be something wrong in your search mechanism.
In all above: show your code. And, if you do, please enclose it within code or php tags!!

No, we will not remove this post. Other members can maybe learn from it.

However, would you be so kind to explain to us what the problem actually was and how you solved it?
