You are asking a question for which there is no straight answer. It is the same discussion as: why is this programming language better then that one? Or: is MS office better then OpenSource.org?
Meaning that you will never get an answer that is correct. It all depends on what is best for your particular running envrionment (such as expected workload, no of concurrent users and completion of transactions per second), cost, online support, what-you-are-used-to, and a lot of other subjective items.
If you want to get into a discussion like this, you'll have to join a specific forum that deals with these issues, such as the DataBase Journal forums.
