Send Email to person from database 5 days beforethe expiry date will

I am registering persons for free upto to 2 months but i want to send a email to person 5 days befor that expiry data meet.
Is their any auto process that mysql server could perform if yes than how i use it.
If no than how i could achieve this result.

There is no automatic mechanism in MySQL to trigger functions. You could use a Cron job to accomplish this. Have a look at the cron tutorial at Intro to CRON
