how to write the query if there is a blank in a certain row?

this is the query i had make. i write ' Operasi is NOTNULL ' because the row is blank is it right?

$sql="SELECT ID,NamaPeralatan,Jenama,Operasi FROM listofitem WHERE NamaPeralatan LIKE '%$search%'AND Operasi is NOTNULL";

You can see that the correct syntax here is
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. IS NOT NULL 
Seeing your thread title: be aware that NULL is NOT THE SAME as blank!!!
