score calculation

Hi.
I read somewhere that there is a limit to the way the score is
calculated. As far as I remember the problem was that if the keyword in
the search string was present more than N times the score would be
wrong.

Can anyone comfirm this or point me to the limitations of the score? I
have read about it on mysql.com but Im unable to find anything about
the actual score calculation.
