CR_SERVER_LOST from mysql_stmt_fetch why???

Hi,

I am experiencing the following problem:
Once in a while i am seeing a CR_SERVER_LOST error from
mysql_stmt_fetch() method.
Database server (mysql) seems to work just fine on the other machine.
Why?? Is there any work around this?
