I have a box with 2gb ram, not all available for mysql .. and 2 PIII
930
Is this .cnf file correct?

set-variable = max_allowed_packet=8192000
set-variable = max_connections=500
set-variable = key_buffer_size=128M
set-variable = myisam_sort_buffer_size=88M
set-variable = table_cache=1024ù

Suggestions?
