Put multiple rows of a text file into a table on mysql?

Hi,

I am a novice at mysql. I have this text file with multiple lines like:

USGS 01411500 1984-01-01 263

I want to place certain rows into a table I already have like the below:

+----------------+-------------+------+-----+------------+-------+
| station_id | char(8) | | PRI | | |
| obs_date | date | | PRI | 0000-00-00 | |
| obs_time | time | | PRI | 00:00:00 | |
| create_date | date | | | 0000-00-00 | |
| create_time | time | YES | | NULL | |

I can do them with the insert command one by one but that would take forever!

Does anyone know a way to put them all in at once?
