What's the meaning of: "InnoDB: Warning: using a partial-field key prefix in search"

In one of my logfiles I have quite repeatedly the following message:

InnoDB: Warning: using a partial-field key prefix in search

What does this warning mean ?

Please note crosspost. Often when writing code requiring function pointers, it is necessary to write functions that ignore their formal parameters. For example, a state machine function might take a status input, but a certain error-handling state might ignore it: typedef void (*State_Fn)(uint8_t); void error_state(uint8_t status)

Hello, I saw in some open source projects a use of "!!" in "C" code; for example: in some header file #define event_pending(v) \ (!!(v)->vcpu_info->evtchn_upcall_pending & \ !(v)->vcpu_info->evtchn_upcall_mask) whereas evtchn_upcall_pending is of type unsigned char (and also evtchn_upcall_mask is of type unsigned char).

I'm using an API which does a lot of callbacks. In classic callback style, each routine provides a void * pointer to carry user-defined data. Sometimes, however, the user-defined pointer is not needed which causes the compiler to spit out a "helpful" warning. For example: % cat unused.c #include <stdio.h> int foo(char *str, void *data) {

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. For...
