Strange error by sub query, works with InnoDB

Hi there,

I have this query below and the SELECT COUNT statements are generating
errors in MySQL and I have no clue why. I would like to be able to do
this because this also works for other DB's. Any ideas?

Kind regards, Seansan

SELECT ttrss_feeds.*,
SUBSTRING(last_ updated,1,19) AS last_updated_no ms,
(SELECT COUNT(ttrss_ent ries.id) FROM ttrss_entries,
ttrss_user_entr ies
WHERE ttrss_user_entr ies.feed_id = ttrss_feeds.id AND
ttrss_user_entr ies.ref_id = ttrss_entries.i d AND
owner_uid = 'admin') AS total,
(SELECT COUNT(ttrss_fee ds.id) FROM ttrss_entries,t trss_user_entri es
WHERE feed_id = ttrss_feeds.id AND unread = 'true'
AND ttrss_user_entr ies.ref_id = ttrss_entries.i d
AND owner_uid = 'admin') as unread,
cat_id,
last_error,
ttrss_feed_cate gories.title AS category,
ttrss_feed_cate gories.collapse d
FROM ttrss_feeds
LEFT JOIN ttrss_feed_cate gories ON (ttrss_feed_cat egories.id =
cat_id)
WHERE ttrss_feeds.own er_uid = 'admin' AND parent_feed IS NULL

Hi Everyone, I wrote a for loop to build several select statements that are combined with a UNION. When I execute one of the queries separately, it works, but when I execute the query with a UNION it returns: ERROR 2013 (HY000): Lost connection to MySQL server during query I am able to run additional queries after I get the error, so the connection is not lost. I have tried running the query with the union on MySQL Query Browser and...

Hello grp! i'm using INNODB tables which are using frequently . if i fire a SELECT query which fetch major part of table it usually take 10-20 seconds to complete. in mean time if any UPDATE qry comes for a perticular row which is part of SELECT qry i want to know that whether UPDATE will wait for completing SELECT qry or not, or it simply executing without bothering SELECT qry .

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
