How To Improve Battery Charging of Any iPhone Model

Our technology packed iPhones act as our trusted sidekicks when we step out to face the world by giving us access to the world with a single tap. But when our iPhone confidant runs out of battery midday; you know you are in trouble. iPhones inherently drain batteries fast owing to their vast set of applications and background processes.

This article was contributed by Prizm Institute. Its course teaches repair skills as well as tips to repair and maintain all types of mobile phones and smartphones.

So, how do you ensure that your trusted sidekick sticks with you throughout the day? We've compiled the top hacks that will drastically improve the battery life of your iPhone.
Tips To Improve Battery Charging of iPhone
1. Identify Your Top Battery Drainers
It is recommended that you identify the applications that drain the most power and treat them accordingly. For instance, Facebook usually takes up 33% of your iPhone's battery, hence, we can optimize battery consumption by switching off its notifications or background refresh.

2. Enable Your iPhone's Low Power Mode:
Your cheat number two is to enable your iPhone's low power mode which will automatically switch off background app refresh, email updates, certain visual effects, automatic downloads, etc. iPhones enable the low power mode automatically once their batteries drop below 20%, however, it can be enabled manually if you wish to ensure that your iPhone sticks with you throughout the day without recharging.

3: Clean Junks Files:
Junk or residual files include snapshots, audio / visual media information, images, etc. and are intended to temporarily speed up file access, however, they pile up over time and can consume over 1 GB. This then lowers your iPhone's speed as well as battery life and can be rectified by using third-party cache and junk cleaning applications. You also probably do not know these many other iphone repair tips and tricks.

4. Optimize Screen Brightness:
Screen brightness is one of iPhone's most battery consuming features. Hence, tremendous battery life can be saved by adjusting the screen brightness.

5. Turn Off Wi-Fi When It's Not Required:
We tend to keep our Wi-Fi enabled even when we aren't using it. This puts tremendous stress on the battery as our iPhones constantly keep searching for available networks, downloading updates, fetching emails, etc. Hence, you can save precious battery bars by switching Wi-Fi off when it isn't required.

6. Disable Location Service:
Location service enables turn by turn GPS navigation and provides information like restaurants located nearby, etc. Since it's constantly working; it constantly drains battery. Hence, when conserving battery is crucial; we can do so by turning off iPhone's location service.

7. Close Background Applications:
iPhones house several applications that constantly function in the background. These background processes deprive our iPhones of useful energy. Therefore, in order to allow our iPhones to endure longer in one charge; we can close any applications that we do not currently need.

8. Auto Lock Your iPhone:
Many a times our iPhones remain active for sometime before we remember to lock them; thus leading to energy wastage. To remedy this; we can enable auto lock that will automatically lock our iPhones after a predefined time.

By following these above tips, you are bound to conserve the battery of your iPhone or iPad. You can also visit Prizm Institute's blog for more tips and tricks of mobile phones.
