How to set file refactoring on commits? The process is relatively simple, yet it is important to know what to do in order to ensure your changes are applied correctly. The first step is to locate the file that you want to refactor. Once that file is located, open it in the relevant program and begin making your changes. Once all of the desired changes have been made, save the file and then commit it to whatever version control system you are using.
