zigbee signal strength measurement

we are doing a project using zigbee module for detecting the location of mobile phones in a small building.we have placed one coordinator,three end devices and also one moving device as zigbee module,my doubt is that how can measure the transmitted power of signal at the mobile devices and also at the cocordinator devices

I might have seen android application measuring signal strengths, search for android API, alternatively you may use time taken to send and receive message to find out distance.
