Whats with all the whitespace between your paragraphs???

Because Pocket PCs and Smart Phones are embedded devices the keys being enabled or disabled are dependent upon the hardware that you are using. If your smartphone or PPC does not have a caps/num/shift key then enabling them will get you nothing because there is not a physical button that can work with them.

As for the difference between hard keys and soft keys. Soft keys are keys that are context sensitive, depending on what application you are using those keys change their behavior, the are usually not labeled with anything. Hard keys are keys that have a static meaning like the number 1 key the number 2 key, their meaning does not change based on the application's context.
