can i create program in the cell phone that has the ability to check on the

my email if i have new email.... and then send me an SMS to my phone ....

do we have API in the J2ME that deal with the email...

could u pls reply quickly i have 2 finish this project in 3 months and as i said am new with J2ME...

if u have any idea pls help me i wanna get started....

Yes, you can create a program in java that will check on an email account if the email server allows you to communicate with it programatically. Have you read through the API docs on java.sun.com to see if one handles email? That is going to be your best resource for API questions.
