Can't import midlets into my LG phone

Hi guys!
I've came here to try to find out some news concerning my LG mobile model. It is a new model and it seems to doesn't work well when importing new MIDlets made by people like us.
My model is the LG-490, it is the canadian version of the american LG AX-490. Both ones pretend to be FCC BEJAX-490 compatible.
And then, i've dowloaded the J2ME toolkit, i've compile the first sample "Hello word" from the toolkit, i've prepared the package in all the disponible versions: JIWT 1.0, MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.1, CLDC 1.0, and no one has worked well.
All that my model does is to download, from the webspace, the JAD file of the MIDlet as a text file, but it never install the damn JAR.
Does somebody else have a such LG model too?

Have you googled for this question yet? There should be some support for your phone for people wishing to execute unsigned midlets.

Do you use a default browser or a browser like Opera installed?

Try installing using the default browser. I think that should work.
