Coding a WAP simulator - Please help!!!

2
Hi all,

I have been given an assignment of creating an application that must do the following:

1.) User inputs\sends WML scripts using a normal web browser that has functionality and appearance of a WAP browser
2.) The WML scripts must then be verfied somehow as being genuine WML language
3.) The WML is then stored in a database, most likely a SQL database
4.) The user then has the functionality to retrieve the scripts from the database and output onto a web browser thats again made to appear as a WAP browser, and only have the functionality of a WAP browser, ie. up,down, left right etc

Any ideas on how i can go about doing this and weather there is anything similar to this in existence already would be greatly appreciated.
I have a vague idea of how to carry this out( ie SQL, PHP etc) but my programming and coding skills are very weak.
Thanks

there are many wap simulators on the market, all you have to do is seach google and you'll get about a billion. As far as making one goes, i dont know. I assume you'd need to know some sort of programming language such as C or something (something is not a programming language), then its just like making a regular browser, except for the fact that it displays the tags differently. Try google out.
