[Mobile.Net Issue] Is it possible to have a larger input box (ie Multiline Textbox)

2 New Member
Hi,

I am working on my first Mobile.Net application and I have run into a problem that I cannot solve. I need to allow the user to input large (eg. short email message length). The problem is the only input I have discovered is the Textbox and I have not been able to find a way to adjust the height of the box. Is there a textarea equivilent or are my users stuck with a one line input for long messages?

Thanks in advance!

Folks, I have a form that has several TextBoxes, some of which have the TextMode set to MultiLine. Each is pre-loaded with data from a database. The user is allowed to modify each entry. The problem is that only the modified data from the SingleLine TextBoxes are returned. The original data are returned for the MultiLine TextBoxes. Also, if the page is sent to the server (for validation, for instance), only the modified data for the...

Hi, I have a filled multiline textbox on the site. I can scroll it with IE and Firefox, but under Opera (tested under 7.54, and Opera 8, under "identify as MSIE" and under Opera identification) , I'm getting a strange behavior: When I try to scroll, the text doesn't move. It only moves to a new position, if I move the scroll marks, and then click on a empty place of the website. There is nothing on the site, just the textbox.

Hi, Using this Multiline Combobox(http://www.vbcity.com/forums/faq.asp?fid=15&cat=ListBox%2FComboBox#TID58434), doesn't allow the user to type multi line text in the texbox-part of the combobox. Does anybody has any idea how to achieve this? What should I override to draw a multiline-textbox instead oth the default textbox? Thanks a lot in advance,

I am using VisualStudio 2005 to create an application in C#. I have a scrollable, multiline textbox where I want the user to be able to doubleclick any given line to put that line in another textbox. How do I tell which line has been doubleclicked? The event argument contains only x,y information and I don't want to have to do the math to figure out which of the visible lines contains that point. Any ideas?

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
