Programming GPS apps for devices

Hi i like to make web services on mobile phone .web services is:mobile phone sent the location given by the gps sistem on the mobile devices and returns(answer) are all restoraunt that are in that location.


Also on the mobile devices has attached sensor what detected some action(and then mobile device sends the location given by the gps system)

Can describe me adventages and bed thinks if i use java and adventages and bed thinks if i use .NET.(for the both exercizes together(progra ming web services and programing senzor) )?

A good book is Programming Windows CE .NET by Boling. You can also try Inside Microsoft Windows CE by Murray. At least thats what is good for windows. As for other OSs I can't help sorry.

By the way, I am merging your previous thread into this one. Please do not double post or you could get banned.

All I can help you with is .Net stuff I have never used Java so in answer to your first question I don't know.
