@ambrnewlearner

I don't think he wants to host it himself, I just think he's looking for is the approximate cost for some web host to host it for him, ex: 1and1.com.

Actually joedeene, its quite the opposite and ambrnewlearner was quite right in providing the link that they did.

If you read the post a little more carefully, you will find that they are asking for details and procedures (presumably on how to set up your own hosting) as they don't have the means to pay for hosting (thus the lack of a credit card).

Sometimes the communication barrier that exists due to language can be a bit difficult and requires some assumption with regards to questions in a forum. Its better to ask exactly what they are looking for and get confirmation rather than assuming someone's answer is wrong, unless its more blatant.

Regards,

Jeff

If you are not sure what hardware to buy or you don't have a way to pay for the hardware then it is probably best to contact one of the many website hosting companies on line and see if they will accept payment through the mail or some other way.

It sounds like you may be in over your head when trying to figure out how to get your site up and running. I suggest you turn toward a managed solution to help you achieve your goals.
