Msi file giving error

308 256MB
HI,
Following is the error given by MSI file. Can any one tell me what might be the reason?

This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.

The scenario is I am running this msi from the batch file and passing some arguments to it.

Thanks!

Don't you think. This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package, would have been a more appropriate error msg?

Regards,

Alex.
