LED color

Hi,
I have one doubt regarding LED that is how same led changes its color green to orange like that, best example is Monoitor LED.

Hi,
I have one doubt regarding LED that is how same led changes its color green to orange like that, best example is Monoitor LED.
Those 'bi-colored leds' are two leds essentially where only one at the time emits
light; you can turn them into tri-colored leds by switching their states alternately
very quickly but you'll need a bit of additional circuitry then.

They're diodes remember? They're mounted in opposite direction so at most one
of them conducts; the other blocks the current and vice versa.
