Window's Task Manager used to show PF around 500MB earlier.
Now I have inserted another 1GB RAM, its still the same!!

Why isn't it reducing?

Why do you think that installing more ram would reduce your page file?

I assumed that. Is it not right?

The size of your page file is maintained by the OS. I'm not sure how often it resizes your page file (if it ever does). But adding more ram wont change the size of the file, it just changes how often the file is swapped in and out of ram.

Page file is similar to swap partition on a linux machine. Googling both topics will give you lots of information about memory management discussions.
