Hello,
me and my team are developing a portal with iGoogle inspired design and Facebook inspired functionality (the customer's request) for non-commericial use and we're stuck on a design issue.
We're using the portal framework JBoss Portal 2.6.3-GA and would like to add a extra menu too the dashboard navigation (the menu in the upper right corner).
And it's possible to add new menu items, but we haven't figured out how to link to pages connected to the portal and not outside of it.
I've figured we'll need to create our own PortalURL/tabURL so that the new links can open upp below the tab-row, as new pages.
The question is this:
Is it possible to create your own PortalURL:s in jBoss Portal without decompiling and recompiling and repackage the files into its war-file. Feels a bit too extreme to do, but I can't find anything good in the reference documentation.
The file we found interesting enough is:
PageCustomizerInterceptor.java
Hope there's someone out there able to answer my rather confused question.
