Multiple MSSQL Linked Servers

1
Hi,
I hope there is someone out there who can help me. I have a MSSQL 2005 server with multiple linked server used for data extraction from other DB's. My problem is I want to be able to start the data collection on exactly the same time from the various servers, using the same dynamic SQL stored procedure. In other word I want various threads of the same stored procedure to run Asynchronously. My problem is that when this happens Synchronously and one of the linked servers is down - I do not want to delay the gathering of data from other linked servers.

Any suggestions
