FTP to SFTP

I our custom application, we have provided an FTP link to the user to upload their excel file (buy just clicking the button on the page). But now, the protocol is changed to SFTP in our org.

So I am looking for the possible workaround/solutions/guideline, thru which I can change this FTP link to SFTP link and user is able to work as before without him knowing any change done in the application.

Pointers to this will be appreciated.

Regards,
Arvind

You might try googling for "Anonymous SFTP" there are a few good discussions about it.

You may want to check out the psftp utility from puTTY . It allows users to connect using sftp w/o using certificates. Kind of nice really.
