Find Mouse Click

Hi, I am trying to create a color book web site and I am having problems with finding out where on the picture the person clicked so I can then load the correct color to that part of the picture. The image is for to complicated to use any type of Image Map. I have read articles about a server side CGI, but have not found any web site that explains how I can impliment this. I basicly just need to be able to click on any partion of the picture, and the computer shoudl know where I clicked so it can send the correct color image for that location.

If someone could point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

Heya, MrCisco. Welcome to TSDN!

I'd recommend building it in Flash. That will give you the sort of flexibility you need.
