3 Brothers in "trouble"

There are 2 elder brothers and 2 younger brothers in a family. And they are to share 3 apples. They must not cut or destroy any of the apples. Each of the Brothers must get a fair portion. Is it possible for them to do that ? If so, how ?

have fun thinking,

I guess your title gives it away.
if the brothers names are Adam, Bob, and Carl, and they are aged: 10, 8 and 6 respectively, then Adam > Bob > Carl. So, Adam & Bob are two elder brothers (to Carl), and Bob and Carl are two younger brothers (to Adam)
