How to work out Mbps to Kbps

Hi

Can someone help me to give the formula to working out the speed of a network such as Wireless USB which is 480Mbps. I need to know what this would be in Kbps and the formulla..

Mbps -> Kbps, multiple by 1000...480Mbps wireless...that doesn't seem right to me...

It's probably a homework question (which might not reflect real world numbers).

Simply 1mb = 1024kb
