name to number using caller id

I was recently searching fruitlessly for a freinds' cell number using pay sites and every option I could think of with zero results when all of a sudden my phone rings and the caller i.d. shows her rather unique name as well as her cell phone number.Go figure. Now I'm thinking someone must be storing this data and if the name and number are tied together there should be a way to go from name to number strictly using caller i.d. data.Even better, her name would have brought up all 3 of her cell numbers which are all in one account.Keep in mind that the pay reverse lookup sites were giving me a neck pain and no more.Is there a way to do this??Granted a lot of extra numbers would come up but I would know which ones applied and the unique listing name would make it easy. This would win me the bet and raise my standing to superhuman. There has to be a way and the Force has led me to You for the map. Please help.

cell phone numbers are usually not listed and residential numbers can be found in a phonebook or online phonebook unless they are private; requested (paid) not to be listed.

It looks as though others are having the same thoughts as you are.
I didn't take the time to read the whole article, but this looks interesting.

Perhaps I was unclear. One of the 3 cell phone numbers on the account in question popped upitty while the so called"pros"were ravaging my mastercard in exchange for snake eyes.It stands to reason,at least in 'Bills world' that the 2 other missing cell numbers[on the same account] would show the same name on my caller id.Now again, defering to reason,if there a database or some way to go from the rather unique name towards the numbers all 3 would come up and the grand prize would be mine along with the methodology used to uncover it.Whether or not cell phone records are published or phonebooks exist is immaterial on the caller id path which has presented itself while the pay for nothing boys were picking my pockets and makeing excuses.Oh wait, maybe I should have checked in the cell-phone-white-pages.
