I don't know how it's done but you want to make sure you have permission to copy the images before taking other people's images.

Heya, lisatyj.

Once you download the image, you can upload it to your blog, save it as your IM icon, etc. The process depends on the application/website, though, so your best bet is to either:

Read the documentation for the sites/applications you want to use, or...
Post the apps/sites you want help with here, and we'll help you out :)
