uploading a document

Hello,

How do I upload a document that is in Microsoft word to an employment agencies website? Thanks.

From what I remember about doing this myself, they usually give you and e-mail address which you send to with an attachment.

Or sometimes, they'll have a "text box" with a "browse" button alongside......
Clicking browse will allow you to locate the doc on your computer

I found the browse button and found my document which I then hit the submit button on the website, but it seemed to take forever to upload and I think it stalled. Do you think thre is something wrong with my computer system?

could be a slow system at either end (or a very large document), or it could be a glitch in their system.
Wouldn't harm to try agaion now and then

How large is your MS Word file? Do you have a broadband connection, or are you using dial-up? Try changing your HTTP timeout value.
