now my Q. is that ..... what is the difference between binary file and palin file (text-format)?????


plz tell me details .. if it is not kept in a single post ...plz send me a best link by which i can get the dtls info about these file specifications

i mean the true story behind these....

Typically, a binary file will contain data (bytes) that extend beyond the range of printable ASCII characters.

Typically, a binary file will contain data (bytes) that extend beyond the range of printable ASCII characters.
Or, conversely, a text file will contain only printable characters like those in the ascii table which does include control charaters (MOST of which a text file will not).
