HELP with OE and Computer

1
I'm using Outlook Express as a database.
Yeah, I know!

I have thousands of entries on it.
My computer will now only work for a couple of minutes before everything FREEZES.

I need to get that OE info onto a laptop or the new computer that I will buy this week.

I have searched numerous sites on how to copy or backup OE but I'm afraid the PC won't be active long enough to do anything before the freeze.

Could it be a memory problem?
What should I do?
Any ideas?

It's probably over heating (I had a computer that would lock up for this reason). Try cleaning dust out of everything and make sure all fans are working before closing the case.
