Numeric Pager or SMS message?

1
Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a suggestion for a way to send a numeric page to a pager via PERL? I'm trying to write a tiny program to send a numeric page to myself if my remote computer(s) have lost power and have rebooted. I was going to drop the program in the que for items to run at start-up. This isn't going to happen often, but I'm struggling to find a way. The few modules I've seen at CPAN haven't been helping. I can send an SMS to a cell phone if I have to, but this is not ideal. I'll be running this on mainly windows 2000 machines. Any thoughts? Thanks!
