Refreshing the browser making the page load very slow

I have a datalist and in that im displaying the images(26) which are created using GUI and im using the "img.save(Response.OutputStream, ImageFormat.Jpeg)" command. Very first time the images are loading fast but whenever i refresh the page the browser showing me the blank page for a while and then loading the images.
