Tool to find a word

Hi
I am Sangeetha,Studying Computer Science Engineering. In my project i had a document file(ie .doc file), in that file i want to select all words (only words not file) and store it into the text file. There is any tool to do this.

Please kindly help to do this,

.doc file belongs to MS Word, right? If so:
from File menu
Save As...
pull down .txt from the Fle Type choice box at the bottom, then you can rename it or just have a .txt version with the same name.

By using the Save As method the file is just renamed and Save it in .txt format. But i want to select the words in .doc file(MS Word file) and then store it into the seperate .txt file.

Unix,Java or JSP any of these technique i want to do this.
