We want to employ or contract with a programmer who knows Python

Which websites should I look at to post the position, or to find people looking for work?
They would ideally be based in the Home Counties, UK
We are looking to employ somebody, or for them to work as a contractor, who knows Python, PostgreSQL, some SQLite, LDN UK. We need somebody to work virtually autonomously on an audio project involving compression and encryption.

We don't which websites or what other means to get in contact with people who might be interested, so any guidance would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Jim
