How does one post/attach an exe file in this forum?

It would be an immense joy to post the project you have helped complete. I needed to figure out a way to post an exe file here for all to see. I can't seem to find the proper location. Can you help?

There may be a good reason for this, one I am not aware of, if so, please advise.

Thanks for your help.

Valid file extensions: bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg pdf png psd txt zip.
But not all forums will allow attachments.
When you create a post, you have 5 minutes to Edit/Delete it. The edit screen has a Manage Attachments feature. exe files are not allowed for good reason, but you could try to attach your source code or a zip file.

Thanks for you reply. I think I am better off not attemting posting .exe files. I just did not want to paste the whole code here since I have a massive form load and if statement that account for communicating with 1040 Textboxes.

Ok, now, what about an image file, I attempted adding an image of the frames being used, all I got were tags [IMG]. How does one insert the image. At least a snapshot and part of the finished product and part of the cdoe should give an idea. Any advice is appreciated :-)

Here is a link to the site FAQs. As far as I know, the [IMG] tags work with URLs of on-line images.

If you didn't want to upload your pictures, here's another method of doing it:

1) Type up your post as normal.
2) Hit 'Submit' to send the post to the forum - it is now displayed.
3) Hit 'Edit/Delete' below your post.
4) On this page is an option to attach files from your computer - browse for the correct file and attach

Steps 3 and 4 must be done within 5 minutes of Step 2 for the Edit/Delete function to still be available.
